A nine-member committee has been established to oversee the implementation of the Jamaica Stock Exchange (JSE) Junior Market. The team, which was announced by Minister without Portfolio in the Ministry of Finance Senator Don Wehby on Wednesday, comprises officials of the Ministry, other public sector representatives and members of the JSE. It has been mandated to implement the Junior Market by the first quarter of next year. The team will hold its first meeting next week. The Junior Market will be used as an avenue for small and medium-sized companies to list their shares in order to raise capital. (Radio Jamaica)
